Picpick is a free screenshot tool that’s easy to use and doesn’t compromise on power. I've rebooted, and did a system restore. Windows saves the screenshot to the screenshots folder in your pictures folder. If you only want to capture a single active window, you can use the keyboard shortcut alt + prt sc (print screen).
I've looked in every folder i have, including onedrive. It looks like windows 10’s native screenshot tool called ‘snip & sketch’ is being hit by a pretty annoying problem, where the app simply fails to load for some users when they try to take.
